Full-Time Live-Out Career Nanny / Family Assistant
Location: San Francisco, CA

A warm, friendly, and active family in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Full-Time Career Nanny / Family Assistant to support their two preschool-aged children (ages 4 and 2) and assist with household organization. This is a long-term opportunity for a professional, dependable, and proactive nanny who enjoys becoming an integral part of a family's support system.

Schedule

• Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Plus 5 additional hours weekly (typically by staying later one evening) to total 40 hours per week
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Flexibility for 1–2 additional scheduled hours weekly
• Occasional overtime available
• Evening, weekend, and occasional overnight coverage may be required

Children

• Two children, ages 4 and 2
• Both attend preschool Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Responsibilities

Childcare

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care
• Plan engaging educational and recreational activities
• Support children's routines, social development, and independence
• Assist with transportation, meals, and daily needs

Family Assistant Duties

• Children's laundry and organization
• Managing children's supplies and household inventory
• Running family-related errands
• Light household support related to the children
• Helping maintain smooth day-to-day family operations
• Communicating effectively with parents regarding schedules and needs

Ideal Candidate

• Career nanny with significant professional childcare experience
• Previous Family Assistant experience preferred
• Background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a degree in Education is highly desirable
• Comfortable traveling domestically and internationally
• Highly professional, discreet, organized, and dependable
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Positive, flexible attitude with a “no task too big or too small” mindset
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred

Family Environment

• Mom has recently returned to work part-time
• Dad works full-time and travels frequently for business
• Grandparents live nearby and are involved
• Family is seeking a long-term partnership with the right candidate

Compensation & Benefits

• $130,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Paid Time Off (PTO)

• Potential transition from live-out to live-in beginning February 2027 for the right candidate
