Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Site Development Project Manager to architect the future of the Charlotte region. Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Leadership: Steer the design and delivery of diverse civil site development projects, ensuring every milestone aligns with the firm’s standards for quality and innovation.

• Technical Integration: Coordinate complex engineering workflows across environmental, structural, survey, and landscape architecture teams to deliver seamless, integrated site solutions.

• Client Stewardship: Serve as a primary point of contact, managing client relationships and visiting job sites to ensure project vision translates perfectly into field execution.

• Fiscal Management: Architect comprehensive proposals, scopes of work, and fee development packages while monitoring budgets, forecasting metrics, and project performance.

• Mentorship & Team Growth: Supervise and inspire a technical staff of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

• Advanced Project Tracking: Utilize Vision and Microsoft Project to maintain rigorous control over project lifecycles, ensuring on-schedule delivery for both public and private-sector clients.

• Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand the firm’s footprint within the land development and infrastructure sectors.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer (PE).

• Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in civil site design for public and private sectors.

• Technical Expertise: Advanced understanding of water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure.

• Software Proficiency: Working experience with AutoCAD; intermediate to advanced proficiency in Vision or Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Software Mastery: Expert command of Civil 3D.

• Sustainability: LEED Accreditation.

• Leadership Success: A proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects within aggressive budget constraints.
