Position Overview:

The Sr Cloud Security Architect serves as both a strategic advisor and a hands on technical engineer supporting a large scale enterprise transformation from legacy on premises infrastructure to a modern multi cloud ecosystem. This role works in close partnership with client architects, cybersecurity leaders, and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and operationalize secure, resilient, and highly available cloud and hybrid solutions. The architect is expected to contribute directly to technical delivery while also guiding architectural decisions, building consensus, and ensuring alignment across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with client enterprise and cloud architects to design secure, enterprise scale multi cloud environments aligned to industry benchmarks and internal security standards
• Actively design, build, and implement cloud and hybrid infrastructure components across major cloud platforms
• Collaborate with network, platform, and security teams to architect and deploy hybrid connectivity solutions integrating on premises data centers with cloud environments
• Work with identity and security stakeholders to define and implement scalable identity and access management models
• Design and help implement high availability and disaster recovery architectures across multiple cloud platforms
• Contribute directly to the development, testing, and documentation of automated failover and recovery mechanisms for critical workloads
• Define, build, and maintain infrastructure as code standards and reusable modules in collaboration with existing engineering teams
• Support the implementation of secure continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines with embedded security controls
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the cybersecurity organization by translating security requirements into practical and deployable technical solutions
• Engage stakeholders across infrastructure, operations, and security teams to drive alignment, gain buy in, and support successful adoption of cloud solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship while fostering a collaborative and team oriented delivery culture Qualifications:
• Eight or more years of experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise scale infrastructure in large complex environments
• Strong hands on production experience with multiple cloud platforms, with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• Solid background in enterprise networking concepts including firewalls, load balancers, routing, and segmentation, and how these map to cloud native architectures
• Demonstrated ability to balance advisory responsibilities with direct technical execution
• Advanced proficiency with infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code practices
• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and identity protocols including NIST, Cloud Security Alliance controls, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, and just in time access
• Proven ability to communicate clearly, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate across teams Tools and Technologies:
• Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• Infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Continuous integration and continuous delivery platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
• Enterprise networking and security technologies
