Legal Assistant – Corporate & Trademark
The Legal Assistant supports three attorneys (primarily partners, but may include counsel, associates, and team attorneys) within the corporate and trademark departments. This role also provides coverage and assistance to other attorneys and legal staff as needed.
On the trademark side, the Legal Assistant supports attorneys with the clearance and prosecution of domestic trademarks. Responsibilities include managing trademark applications, preparing and filing documents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), conducting preliminary trademark searches, drafting correspondence, assisting with due diligence, and preparing assignment and recording documents.
