Forklift Warehouse Worker – AM Shift.

Location: Northwest Houston Area.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed).
Pay: $17–$18 per hour, based on experience.

Openwork is seeking a highly experienced Forklift Warehouse Worker to join a respected, employee-owned distribution and fabrication company in the Northwest Houston area. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity for a dependable professional with strong forklift skills and proven inventory management experience.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will operate forklifts while managing high-volume and heavy inventory. Your attention to detail and operational precision will directly support shipping accuracy, inventory control, and overall warehouse performance.

Core Responsibilities:

• Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Manage and move heavy inventory and bulk materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Accurately pick, pack, stage, and verify orders.
• Receive and inspect materials for quality and accuracy.
• Perform inventory counts, stock replenishment, and location audits.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of forklift operation experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on inventory control and heavy inventory management experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Reliable attendance and professional work ethic.
• Forklift certification preferred.
