The Mission

Moove AV is at the forefront of the autonomous vehicle (AV) revolution, and we’re looking for a sharp, high-energy Legal Counsel to help us navigate the frontier. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, AV, you won’t just be "reviewing documents"—you’ll be a strategic architect of our growth. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of cutting-edge tech, real estate, and corporate law in an industry that is literally redefining mobility.

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Build the Infrastructure: You’ll lead the charge on real estate and land use, negotiating the leases and charging agreements that form the physical backbone of our AV fleet.

  • Fuel the Business: From vendor contracts to master service agreements, you’ll draft and negotiate the deals that keep our operations moving at high velocity.

  • Guard the Governance: You’ll manage the lifecycle of our corporate entities, ensuring we are qualified, compliant, and ready for scale across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Bridge the Gaps: You’ll be the "connective tissue" between our Infrastructure, Safety, Finance, and HR teams, ensuring legal strategy is perfectly synced with business reality.

  • Direct the Experts: You’ll manage relationships with outside counsel, ensuring we get world-class results while keeping an eye on the bottom line.

Who You Are

  • A Juris Doctor & Bar Member: You hold a J.D. from an accredited school and are an active member in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.

  • The "Sweet Spot" Experienced: You have 3–6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house environment, with a proven track record in corporate, commercial, and real estate law.

  • A Precise Negotiator: You have an "eagle eye" for detail but a "bridge-builder" mindset in negotiations.

  • The Startup Athlete: You thrive in fast-paced environments, can juggle urgent priorities without dropping the ball, and are comfortable working autonomously.

  • Tech-Curious (Bonus): If you have experience in the automotive or AV space, you’ll hit the ground running even faster.
