Part-Time Live-Out Nanny/Housekeeper – New York, NY (Upper West Side of Manhattan)

Position: Nanny/Housekeeper
Schedule:   Monday–Friday, ~1:00 PM–7:00 PM (or Mon–Thurs 12:00–7:00), ~30–32 hours/week, slightly flexible
Pay: Around $35-40/hour, DOE
Start Date:   Immediate Start Date
Location:   NYC (local candidates only)

Overview
Warm family of two in a small NYC home (780 sq. ft.) seeking a proactive, highly organized Nanny/Housekeeper. One 3-year-old son and a 13-year-old Yorkie. Role combines daily home upkeep and meal prep with afternoon childcare.

Schedule & Responsibilities

1:00–3:00 PM – Home Support

• Daily reset of home (tidying, counters, trash, dishes)
• Laundry and light organization
• Grocery shopping and simple meal prep/cooking of simple dinners
• Maintaining overall home flow and readiness

3:00–7:00 PM – Childcare

• School pick-up and after-school care
• Park/activities and engaging toddler care
• Bath time and evening routine
• Prepare simple, healthy dinners
• Light dog care during transition

Ideal Candidate
Seeking someone proactive and self-directed who naturally anticipates needs (laundry, groceries, meals, organization) without much instruction. Must be confident with toddlers and actively engage with them, comfortable with dogs, and able to manage both household and childcare smoothly. Strong organization, initiative, and toddler experience is required.

Additional Info

• Weekly deep cleaner already in place
• Paid major holidays, 2 weeks PTO, and transit card provided
• Occasional travel flexibility to Florida a plus but not required
• Long-term role
