Stainless Steel Pipe Welder
Job Description
This role requires a highly skilled TIG welder with strong experience in stainless steel process piping and 6G welding. You will perform precise open-root butt welds on stainless steel pipe across various schedules, interpret technical drawings and welding symbols, and consistently produce high-quality welds in a clean shop environment. The position demands excellent hand–eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team on a variety of changing projects.

Work Environment
The position is based in a clean, modern shop environment with opportunities to support field work as needed. The standard schedule follows a first shift from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., typically working five 10-hour days each week, with a minimum of 50 hours and 10–20 hours of overtime available, and weekends are rarely required. You will work with TIG torches rated at 200 AMP or higher and use tools such as squares, two-hole pins, levels, and tape measures to ensure accurate fit-up and alignment. Proper personal protective equipment is required, including safety footwear such as steel-toed boots and an appropriate welding hood, in line with established safety practices for a fabrication and welding shop.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
