EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION – ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a prominent Amlaw 50 global law firm , is seeking a talented  Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic and fast-growing practice as a 3rd-5th year associate . This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile single-plaintiff matters, systemic discrimination cases, wage and hour class actions, internal investigations, and complex advisory issues affecting major employers across industries.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York , in good standing
• 2+ years of substantive  litigation experience 
• Experience handling single-plaintiff employment litigation , wage and hour matters, and/or class or collective actions
• Strong written advocacy skills, including drafting motions , briefs , and pleadings
• Ability to manage discovery , take and defend depositions , and support trial preparation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients
• Highly motivated, creative, practical, and capable of working both independently and in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and sound professional judgment

Key Responsibilities

• Work on pre-litigation matters, high-profile single-plaintiff cases , systemic discrimination claims , and wage and hour class and collective actions
• Respond to agency charges and handle related administrative matters
• Conduct internal investigations for corporate clients
• Counsel clients on a broad range of employment law issues
• Draft briefs, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions , argue motions , and appear in court
• Participate in mediations , settlement negotiations , and strategy development for complex cases
• Collaborate with attorneys across practices to deliver coordinated and strategic client support

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary : Expected annual base salary ranges from $260,000 to $390,000 , as determined by experience and market factors
• Eligibility for performance-based  bonuses
