Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history. Kalshi is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.

Role Roadmap

We are looking for an outlier Product Designer to help craft the experience of prediction markets through elegant and simple UX and delightful product interactions. You will own the core customer journeys, including how our users discover, research, trade, manage their positions in, and reference prediction markets. Your role will push you to be close to customers and to bring creative solutions to their needs, including the ones they’re not aware of.

If you love creating moments of delight, you deeply care for our craft, and you are excited to bring prediction markets to the world, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

• Create awe: build delightful product experiences that make our customers go from liking the product to loving it.
• Simplify and distill: promote accessibility to Kalshi and take complicated financial actions and turn them into elegant, simple, and easy to understand product flows. 
• Research and talk to customers: refine and improve our understanding of our customers and their needs, including those they’re not aware of. 
• Rapidly produce concepts and prototypes: apply an experimental and iterative  mindset to design and solution exploration.

What we’re looking for: 

Attributes: 

• 5+ years of experience in product design
• A compelling portfolio showcasing your ability to craft delightful product experiences (show us!)
• Deeply in love with your craft, obsessive over design details, and focused on excellence in execution. 
• Strong customer intuition and consumer sensibility
• Ability to move fast and adjust quickly, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Passion for prediction markets and/or financial markets
• (Bonus) past experience in consumer fintech or trading

NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure:

Salary Range: $120,000 to $250,000 annually plus equity and benefits.

This salary range is based on the current available market data and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but a broad range of experience is represented within roles. Should you have compensation expectations that exceed these bands, we'd still love to hear from you.
