Salary: $129,800 - 129,800 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or CSSLP certification.
• We require 4+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• We require 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• We require 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• We require 4+ years of experience deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
• We require an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• We prefer 1+ years of development, programming, or scripting experience in Python, Java, Bash, or Perl.
• We prefer knowledge of engineering practices and patterns across the full software, hardware, and networks development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
• We prefer experience in a leading role building complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully delivered to customers.

• We serve as the technical lead for a small engineering team throughout the full software lifecycle.
• We identify, plan, deliver, and operate software and processes that drive customer-focused, business-impacting improvements for AWS operations.
• We work with AWS engineers to uncover opportunities for process automation.
• We handle full-lifecycle software development, partnering closely with customers to scope, design, implement, test, deliver, and run software solutions.
• We learn and grow in a DevOps and Agile Scrum environment through incremental delivery, peer support, and code review.
• We participate in an on-call rotation supporting our automation solutions and later supporting the S3 service itself in unique regions.
