Job Summary:As a Territory Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales activities within your designated territory. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with our direct and indirect customers. You will focus on sales and support for gearmotors, motors, and related control products, utilizing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to expand our customer base and enhance satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Acquire new business while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal Sales and Marketing teams to execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide support to authorized distributors.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the company, resolving conflicts and ensuring quality assurance.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to enhance product offerings.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and adhere to quality system protocols.
  • Plan and report travel activities as required, with up to 25% travel expected.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical science, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of sales or marketing experience in a B2B environment, preferably in industrial products.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand technical products and effectively communicate their features and benefits.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with customers and support business development activities.
