We are FunCodeNet, a Software Consulting Company. Our team works with international clients and digital content, and we are looking for a reliable Translator to help translate written materials clearly and accurately.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are hiring a remote Translator based in the European Union. This role involves translating written content from several language to English, while keeping the original meaning, tone, and context.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, fluent in both languages, and able to deliver accurate translations on time. Experience with business documents, website content, emails, product descriptions, or general online content is a plus.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Translate written content from Spanish, Italian, German, French, Slovenian, Portuguese, Swedish, Bulgarian to English.
Review translations for accuracy, grammar, and natural wording.
Keep the original meaning, tone, and context of each document.
Proofread and edit translated content before submission.
Follow formatting and style instructions when provided.
Communicate clearly about progress, questions, and deadlines.
Keep company and client information confidential.
**REQUIRED SKILLS**
Fluent in English
Strong writing and grammar skills.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to translate naturally, not word for word.
Basic experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or online document tools.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Reliable internet connection.
Previous translation, proofreading, or localization experience is a plus.
**LOCATION AND WORK SETUP**
This is a fully remote position.
This role is open only to candidates based in the European Union.

No office work is required.
**JOB DURATION**
This is an ongoing contract role, starting with a paid trial project. If the trial project goes well, the role may continue long term.
**WORKLOAD**
Workload will depend on the number of translation tasks available each week. This can be part-time and flexible, but deadlines and regular communication are important.
