Elwood Staffing is hiring a Welder Fabricator in Longview, TX! Mon-Fri 8a-5p $18-22/hr DOE

Welder Fabricator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 to $22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Perform MIG welding
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Fit, align, and assemble metal parts prior to welding
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy
• Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, and other precision tools
• Repair defective welds and make adjustments as needed
• Assist with general fabrication and production duties as assigned. 

Welder Fabricator Qualifications:

• 1+ years of previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
