Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled, self-directed, and full-stack-oriented Mobile App Developer to take end-to-end ownership of our seller-focused mobile application under a permanent, full-time contractor engagement framework. Operating as our core cross-platform engineer, you will step up to claim direct narrative, architecture, and feature delivery accountability across both iOS and Android applications. Shifting completely away from minor website interface adjustments, manual document formatting, or simple third-party tool integrations, you will run an active cross-platform client development, mobile API engineering, and automated release pipeline laboratory—partnering face-to-face with co-developers, cloud architects, and product leads. This position requires an experienced engineer who builds multi-platform applications fluidly natively using React Native frameworks, evaluates mobile latency and query bottlenecks cleanly to optimize backend microservices using Python and Django (DRF), and directs publishing operations confidently inside major app store consoles.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Cross-Platform Feature Engineering: Design, develop, and ship highly responsive, robust features across iOS and Android storefronts, owning core areas like onboarding, identity authentication, secure profile management, order fulfillment trackers, and real-time in-app chat windows.
• App Performance and Lifecycle Optimization: Maintain high production stability through strategic bug remediation, proactive code refactoring, and structured version release pipelines cleanly natively utilizing React Native environments.
• High-Performance REST API Architecture: Build, scale, and document clean backend web APIs using Python and Django Rest Framework (DRF), keeping a sharp operational focus on minimizing mobile latency and network overhead.
• App Store Release and Pipeline Management: Lead cross-platform deployment routines, managing app signing certificates, provisioning profiles, TestFlight beta runs, and Google Play Console deployment configurations.
• Database Optimization and Scaling: Formulate highly efficient PostgreSQL database queries, schemas, and indexing strategies to reliably support a high-volume platform serving 1M+ monthly visitors.
• UI/UX Integrity Verification: Collaborate with design leads to translate creative mockups into fluid, high-fidelity components, maintaining an uncompromising eye for pixel-perfect detail.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven professional history shipping and maintaining production-grade mobile applications natively using React Native frameworks across both iOS and Android platforms.
• Demonstrated expertise developing, testing, and scaling secure RESTful APIs utilizing Python and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Strong architectural understanding of engineering for high scale, low latency, and absolute reliability under high-concurrency traffic conditions.
• Comprehensive familiarity with Apple and Google developer release ecosystems, including code-signing protocols, provisioning setups, and deployment automation tools.
• Solid literacy with relational databases, demonstrating professional competence with PostgreSQL query optimization.
• Excellent organizational and self-management strengths, with a proven ability to thrive within an asynchronous, fully remote environment utilizing Notion or equivalent document tools.
• Application Portfolio Mandate: Candidates must supply a portfolio or verified repository links demonstrating successfully shipped mobile applications to be considered.
• Location Context: Position features 100% remote parameters open exclusively to qualified mobile engineering professionals residing permanently within Brazil (São Paulo), Argentina (Buenos Aires), Colombia (Bogotá), Costa Rica (San José), or Mexico (Mexico City) .
