Job Description

Complete Logistical Services is excited to announce a job opening for a dedicated and efficient Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment and are proficient in managing various logistics tasks. The role demands an organized, detail-oriented professional capable of handling multiple shipping and receiving tasks with precision. It is important to note that this is not a remote job, and the successful candidate will be stationed at our primary warehouse facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Executing the day-to-day activities associated with operating in a demanding warehouse department.
  • Assist in the daily operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products with limited on-the-job mentoring and guidance.
  • Rotational duties required within the warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Operating a forklift within the warehouse and outside in the yard.
  • Checking and receipting goods inwards from suppliers, offshore, intercompany transfers.
  • Locating stock into designated areas.
  • Picking and packing items for shipping.
  • Preparing invoices for shipments to worksites.
  • Assisting with cycle count and stock taking when required.
  • Assisting Warehouse Management with inventory reconciliation and inventory issues.
  • Raising non-conformance reports to follow up discrepancies found within processes.
  • Adhering to Continuous Improvement for the purpose of refining relevant processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to continuously improving your working area through 6S activity.
  • Participating in weekly 6S audits when required.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and optimizing space utilization.
  • Basic computing skills, knowledgeable in MS Office.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse management system software, specifically Peoplesoft ERP, to track inventory, manage orders, and generate reports.
