Job Description

As a Site Reliability Engineer reporting to Director System Operations youll play a critical role in the delivery integration and support of complex distributed high-availability solutions for financial institutions and organizations around the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation tooling to ensure platform reliability scalability and high availability.
  • Monitor system performance respond to incidents and lead root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement across distributed environments.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to embed reliability and DevOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Leverage AI tooling and automation to reduce manual effort improve operational efficiency and accelerate delivery outcomes.
  • Support real-time low-latency applications while maintaining high professional standards in a client-focused global environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 37 years of experience in site reliability engineering DevOps or a related discipline within Agile development environments.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure management including AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies configuration management tools and scripting languages such as Python Bash or Go.
  • Solid understanding of Linux operating systems Java-based applications monitoring tools performance tuning and automation practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services banking exchange or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with AI tooling and large language model integrations in operational workflows.
  • Experience supporting global teams and working across complex matrixed organizations.

The base pay range for this role is $81000 - $142000. In addition to base salary Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive) and equity (long-term incentive) comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to: skill set experience education/training business needs and market demands.
