Job Title: General Production Worker - 1st Shift - Start ASAP

Job Description

The role involves working at assigned workstations, where you will load small parts onto a broach one at a time, activate the machine, and then transfer the finished product to a designated bin. Cycle times may vary between 5 to 20 seconds. Additionally, you will be responsible for moving bins weighing up to 25 pounds to different locations and completing daily production forms. The position requires standing for the entirety of an 8-hour shift, meeting production targets specific to each part.

Work Environment

The facility is newly updated, featuring clean floors and walls, bright lighting, and air-conditioned inspection and break rooms. While older machines are present, the environment remains comfortable with a cool breeze possible on nice days. The dress code is relaxed, prohibiting only cutoffs or shorts. The work schedule includes one 30-minute lunch break after four hours, with no additional breaks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MI.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
